There are times when from the moment your alarm clock goes off in the morning you are on the go. As a busy woman, wife, and mom, it can often feel like there are not enough hours in the day.
I love my husband and my daughters, but it is so easy to become overwhelmed with all their to-do that I can forget about myself. I know I am not the only woman to feel that way.
So let’s not get tired of doing what is good.
at just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing is we don’t give up.
Galatian 6:9 (NLT)
We often push through because we know we have to and others are depending on us. Knowing that despite all the busyness there will be a harvest, while also finding ways to make sure we do not lose ourselves in the process.
So that’s why starting our day off right is so important. Whether you are a morning person or not, how you start your day is so important. Even in the midst of our busy lives as women, wives, and moms, taking the time to take care of ourselves and to grow our faith is important. Whether you have 5 minutes or 50 minutes, we all need to take time to be still, seek God, and pray.
Devotional books are a great way to start your day with the quiet time you need for yourself and the time you need with God. Here are 5 of the best devotional books for women.

One of my favorite women authors of books, devotional and other types, is Anne Graham Lotz. Anything written by her is well worth the read! ! I do like the authors and the books you shared, but I also feel like it’s good to read other authors that perhaps don’t lean in the charismatic direction. Always beneficial to have a variety of bible based authors that you read so that you can have a well balanced reading list.
Blessings!🥰
