We all have experienced those moments or events in life that have been life-changing. Those moments that once you experience them, you cannot go back to being the same person you were before. Some you see coming, like when you get married or you have kids.
For me, I could not imagine my life without my husband and our three daughters. Yet even I could not have imagined how much I would change, grow, and be stretched after becoming a wife and mother.
Then there are those life-changing moments that you do not see coming. You have a chance encounter with a person or experience an event, either good or bad, that just changes you. Although a lot of life-changing moments occur with other people and events, there are some you experience all alone.
There are some books that you read that can change your life as well. Some books will bestow wisdom, insight, encouragement, and knowledge that can forever change you.
Without good direction, people lose their way; the more wise counsel you follow, the better your chances.
Proverbs 11:14 (MSG)
